A Structured Approach for Effective English Progress

Stage1｜Foundational Literacy
Recommended Age: Grade 1–3 (Ages 7–9)
CEFR Level: A1
Class Format: Small group / 1-on-1 to 1-on-3
Book: Oxford Phonics World (Level1-3)；Power Up（Level1-2）
The Foundational Literacy stage focuses on developing core reading, vocabulary, and phonics skills. It aims to build students’ confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English through structured and interactive instruction.
Using the internationally recognized Oxford Phonics World and Power Up series, this program lays a solid foundation in phonemic awareness, sight words, basic grammar, and everyday communication.

Stage 2｜Independent Reading
Recommended Age: Grade 1–5 (Ages 7–11)
CEFR Level: A1–B2
Class Format: Small group / 1-on-1 to 1-on-3
Book: Oxford Reading Tree (Level 1–7); RAZ (Level AA–G); English Literature & Writing (Lexile 380L–1000L)
The Independent Reading stage guides students to transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn.” It focuses on building analytical reading and structured expression skills through carefully leveled and authentic English texts.
With resources such as Oxford Reading Tree, RAZ, and literary readers, students develop comprehension, critical thinking, and writing abilities. This program fosters independent reading habits while preparing learners for more advanced academic and literary exploration.

Stage 3｜Independent Reading
Recommended Age: Grade 2–5 (Ages 8–11)
CEFR Level: A2–B2
Class Format: Small group / 1-on-1 to 1-on-6
Book: Oxford Discover (Level 2–3); THINK (Level 5–2); Oxford Discover Grammar (Level 3–6)
Structured Literacy emphasizes logical organization and clear structure to deepen students’ understanding of language rules. This stage helps learners master key skills such as sentence formation, paragraph development, and text organization through a systematic approach.
Using resources like Oxford Discover, Think, and Oxford Discover Grammar, students enhance their academic writing, critical thinking, and grammatical accuracy. The program strengthens both the “tools” of language and the ability to express abstract and academic ideas effectively.

Stage 4｜Academic Fluency
Recommended Age: Grade 2–6 (Ages 8–12)
CEFR Level: A2–C1
Class Format: Small group / 1-on-1 to 1-on-6
Book: Oxford Discover (Level 2–3); THINK (Level 5–2); Oxford Discover Grammar (Level 3–6)
The Academic Fluency stage builds advanced reading comprehension, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. Students learn to analyze texts, organize ideas, and express themselves clearly through essays, summaries, and research tasks. Using materials like Reading Explorer, Great Writing, and Unlock, the program prepares learners for academic success and international exams through structured analysis and project-based learning.
